I grew up in Oviedo, FL, a few miles from what was then a much smaller UCF campus, which meant to anyone outside of the 407, I lived in Orlando. I watched space shuttle launches from my elementary school playground, and I remember when it ONLY took 25 minutes to drive from Oviedo to Disney. I had my Orlando Magic heart ripped-out twice when two of the best big men in the NBA left for the Lakers. As a UCF freshman, I proudly wore my Black and Gold to the first football game at our new on-campus stadium. Upon graduation I traveled just up the road to Gainesville for The University of Florida Law School, trading the Bounce House for Saturdays at The Swamp. Then, I came home. I’ve watched this city grow up alongside me. I’m proud to now be able to give back to my local community as an attorney, to help create jobs and spark innovation by guiding companies toward a brighter future. The City Beautiful has so much potential for tech and entertainment growth. With entertainment powerhouses Disney and Universal and higher education institutions, such as Full Sail and UCF, investing in the tech and gaming industries, Orlando’s poised to become an even more influential tech hub. The synergism between art, culture, simulation, tech, and design can propel the city to new heights. I’m excited to help groups push new tech startups here in Orlando, Florida. Centered within technology, entrepreneurship, and creative strategy, Laster Law brings innovative solutions to our clients.
